Learn how to use LabGym, an AI-based software suite for automated video analysis and quantification of animal behavior

LabGym is a free software suite for automated video analysis and quantification of animal behavior. LabGym has now been downloaded over 55,000 times from GitHub in just about two years. The 2024 LabGym symposium drew over 200 attendees from 50 institutions across 5 countries.

This online symposium will will feature two sessions:

    • Lauren Raycraft (Carrie Ferrario lab, University of Michigan): Novel insights from machine-learning based analysis with LabGym in a rodent operant procedure

    • Gabriella Muwanga (Vivianne Tawfik lab, Stanford University): Objective assessment of post-injury pain in mice.

    • Théo Ardoin (Université Paris-Saclay): Deep learning for automated behavioral analysis in Japanese Macaques

    • Amanda Xu (Ye lab, University of Michigan): Automated analysis of C. elegans behavior by LabGym

    • Julie Zhou (Stappenbeck Lab, Cleveland Clinic): Cellular behavior analysis through LabGym

  • Tutorial Session (11:30 AM–1:30 PM EST): A step-by-step walkthrough of LabGym’s basic functions to help participants get started. Example videos and datasets will be provided to allow hands-on practice.
