At the U-M Center for Stem Cell Biology, a dedicated staff of researchers is exploring the use of stem cell dynamics to change the way science approaches disease.

LSI donor William Hall believes embryonic stem cell research could be one of our best hopes for treating disease, Parkinson's and cancer. LSI scientists are already at work, exploring how the remarkable adaptability of these cells could lead to new therapies. You can help accelerate the pace of their discoveries.

In 2006, LSI donors donated over half a million dollars to LSI's embryonic stem cell research efforts. Their support outfitted a dedicated stem cell lab and funded the technical training and scientific collaboration needed to speed research on new embryonic stem cell lines. You can help kick their efforts into high gear.
