July 5, 2017 - Tony joins the lab!
We have our first official lab member - Tony Ludlam! His role will be staff scientist and lab manager as things get off the ground. He did his Ph.D. in the LSI, right next door to the Cianfrocco lab, in the lab of Zhaohui Xu. He has 10+ years of biochemistry experience, and is also trained as an X-ray crystallography. Welcome!
July 1, 2017 - Cryo-EM summer course announced for University of Michigan
To help build the cryo-EM community at UM, Mike is teaching an informal summer course on basic TEM principles and sample preparation over 5 weeks from July to August.
