Lois Weisman

Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Michigan Life Sciences Institute, Weisman was a Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Iowa. Weisman is currently the Sarah Winans Newman Collegiate Professor in the Life Sciences. Previous honors and awards include an American Heart Established Investigator Award, and an NSF Early Career Development Award. Weisman is on the editorial board of the Journal of Cell Biology.
