Metabolic control and disease pathogenesis

Dr. Lin's laboratory is investigating mechanisms that regulate the spatial and temporal organization of metabolic programs using genetic and genomic tools. His research focuses on the PGC-1 family of transcriptional coactivators and their role in the control of mitochondrial function, glucose and lipid homeostasis.
